Barley sleeps soundly for two hours.
A timelapse I made from work. Looking west along 52nd St. from 3rd Ave. as a summer thunderstorm blew over Manhattan. It got really dark right before the storm, but brightened up a lot even as the rain fell.
I made a time lapse video of Rough Periwinkles (Littorina saxatilis) browsing among the brown algae (Fucus sp.) in a tidepool in Rye, NH near the Seacoast Science Center. The action is sped up 75 times (34 minutes are compressed into 27 seconds). View in HD for maximum gastropod action.

Uses the ImageMagick convert command [Example].

My very first gif! I found some stinkhorn eggs and brought them home. After three days two of them had already produced their full basket fruit. Amazing and smelly.
Another mushroom time series. I can’t resist.

I’m a sucker for a mushroom timelapse.
